The most interesting thing I heard about this match was that the contest should have taken place when both fighters were closer to their prime.  This oblique remark is a window upon what is really going on in such contests.

Cognitive dissonance was on display in Las Vegas. Fans bought mounds of Floyd Mayweather swag all week, but he was booed at the arena, while Manny Pacquiao got cheers.
